Corrections
A useful publication must make errors easy to raise.
Edition dated 9 October 2026
Report an issue
Please identify the article URL or title, the exact wording you believe is wrong, why it is wrong and the best available supporting source. A primary statistical release or official definition is particularly useful. Do not include private financial records or another person's sensitive details.
The contact form can prepare a corrections email. It does not send or store messages on a server. Send corrections to [email protected] with “Correction request” in the subject line.
Proposed review process
The accountable public operator should assess the original wording and source, distinguish factual error from disagreement and check whether the issue affects other articles. Acknowledgements and resolution times should reflect actual staffing and should not be invented for the launch.
How corrections should appear
A material factual correction should include a visible note on the affected article stating what was wrong, the corrected position and the correction date. A substantial clarification should be identified as such. Minor typographical fixes can be made without a correction note when they do not change the meaning.
When official data changes
Statistical agencies routinely revise estimates. Updating an article to reflect newly available data is different from repairing a mistake in the original report. Both should be transparent about the data release and period involved.
Correction record
No material corrections have been recorded in this initial edition. This does not constitute a guarantee that every article is free from error. Future correction entries should link to the affected article and preserve a clear explanation of the change.
